You probably know me as "Derrick from "Real World," but the truth is I never got the luxury to sit in a house and do nothing. Although, I have done a pretty good job on doing some pretty unflattering things on T.V. The journey begins on a show called Road Rules which was based in Chile and Argentina where I had the opportunity to live on an RV for 2 months with 8 people who I didn't know. Oh, and we had a dog named X. She shit and pissed all over the place. We all loved her anyway. So we had to do some pretty interesting things on Road Rules: * Bungee jump out of a helicopter into an active volcano in Chile * Repel down a 210 foot waterfall * Eat 13 pieces of raw cow * Stand in a window body-painted naked * ... and there has been plenty more. MTV and the Ever-So-Awesome Bunim-Murray family has asked me to participate in the following four Real World/Road Rules Challenges: Battle of the Sexes 2, Inferno II, Gauntlet 2, and Fresh Meat which all have acquired their fair share of awesomeness. Before I was doing all of this I was going to a community college near home, (Oakton Community College) working at Steak n' Shake or Rainforest Cafe, and playing baseball and basketball for the school. Oh and i had a pretty fun social life. Ya know, girlfriend and cool friends. My mom is, by far, is the coolest and most amazing person I know. I love her more than anything. You can definetly call me a momma's boy. I've got 2 younger twin brothers that are 16 years old who are both playing varsity baseball and have a damn near 4.0 GPA. Very proud. Me and my pops have a great relationship. Now don't think everything is all fine and dandy. I have my issues just like everybody else does. But I believe if you work hard, have a positive attitude, and live your life as a good person things will fall into place. God is awesome. He has definately blessed me and I thank him for it every day.
